Mission

Our mission is to honour and respect life, while offering care, comfort, and dignity to those experiencing life-limiting illnesses, and supporting families and loved ones.

We Carry Out Our Mission By:

Providing support for those in need of end of life care, their families and caregivers regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, creed, or diagnosis.

Supporting the work of Palliative Care services and working with other related agencies and organisations.

Offering and providing care and support for those experiencing bereavement, loss and grief. Raising awareness of end of life issues within the community.

Strategies:

To support those without health insurance who are facing end of life.

To support the provision of the Oncology facility within Forster Private Hospital.

To acquire and maintain a pool of equipment for the use of those facing end of life.

To fundraise, accept gifts, bequests, sponsorship, and grants to enable the ongoing work of the Palliative Care Support.

To offer emotional and personal support to those facing end of life, their families, caregivers, and loved ones.

To raise community awareness around death, dying and end of life issues.
